Pre Production Practice
Here is a sketch of my idea. A few more changes, some reference shots and onto the work!
I am really excited for this project that is coming up for me. This yet again going to be a culmination of what I have learned in Photoshop. This ones are practices of the figure that will be in my piece. The piece will have like a lara croft meets frank frazetta. I going to do one more practice piece then tackle the main one. Yipee! :)
Speed Paint
One hour speed paint to loosen up for my upcoming digital illustration that I am looking forward too. I don't know what this was supposed to be. I just remember thinking of some kind of monster or robot guarding a shiny gem. Like some kind of RPG dungeon boss that guards something of high value in a cave.

Digital Painting Practice - Lizard
I am glad that I am finally improving in photoshop. I felt like i was not learning anything right. But after looking at some tutorials at http://www.ctrlpaint.com/ and doing away with bad habits. Its making sense to me now. But I still need to practice, I am just glad that to see at least a glimpse of the future possibilities. I have never rendered this much all on photoshop.

I LIVE!! Back in school and back on the prowl!
Oh man! I haven't put anything on this blog for years. For anyone wondering, I took a year off in late 2009 and went to another school. I then transferred from that school ( SCF- State College of Florida) and got back into Ringling! This semester I learned so much. I .....well in simpler terms... I am evolving into an actually good artist. I tried out so many mediums that I thought I hated but realized that I just didn't understand them. Now I am in love with OILS, ACRYLIC, and PASTELS. :)
Here is some stuff from this 2011 fall semester.
